Here at Farosian HQ, we are ridiculously excited to announce the completion of a project which has been in the pipeline for the last 5 years – our very own robot, named Rosi.
Social and digital data screening is a process which requires enormous amounts of time, accuracy, and man-power. But no longer, thanks to the wonders of machine learning and robotic process automation otherwise known as RPA.

RPA robots utilize the user interface to capture data and manipulate applications just like humans do. They interpret, trigger responses and communicate with other systems in order to perform on a vast variety of repetitive tasks. Only substantially better: an RPA software robot never sleeps and makes zero mistakes.” – UiPath
RPA robots are capable of mimicking many–if not all–human user actions. They log into applications, move files and folders, copy and paste data, fill in forms, extract structured and semi-structured data from documents, scrape browsers, and more. This is key for Farosian, as we process incredible amounts of data per day. In fact, for each social media report conducted, we analyse and interpret 2498 social and digital data points using highly qualified human insight to reveal the true person behind the data.
Over time, we plan to improve and build on Rosi’s artificial intelligence capabilities. At the moment, Rosi works at about 5 times the speed of a human, however this could be drastically increased with the loading times of web pages and general improved internet speed. In terms of her work, Rosi performs the searching and validation of profiles and content, along with completing the scoring (risk and behavioural) for report requests which have limited information available.
In a nutshell, Rosi takes care of the time-consuming tasks so that we don’t have to, improving efficiency and providing an opportunity for people in the company to spend time focusing on their unique skills and working on other projects.
Modern problems call for modern solutions. At Farosian, we will continue to push the boundaries and work towards creating a safer social and digital realm for all users. This is done through our social and digital data screening, social media literacy training, as well as our policy design. Whether we like it or not, social media is here to stay, and it serves us to have all the facts.
